About the Role

The Administrative Controller – Learning & Development will support the Human Resources department by managing the administrative and logistical aspects of the Learning & Development (L&D) function. The role involves coordinating training activities, maintaining learning systems, and ensuring smooth delivery of learning initiatives throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for all learning and development programmes, including venue set‑up, travel, and accommodation for participants and trainers.
  • Prepare training materials and support the distribution of learning resources.
  • Manage relationships with external service providers, creating purchase orders, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Assist in the administration of bursaries, including handling payments and necessary documentation.
  • Support the “Best Company to Work For” survey and other employee recognition initiatives.
  • Maintain and update the Learning Management System (LMS) and the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Keep the L&D calendar and diary updated, ensuring events run on schedule.
  • Respond to L&D queries and provide support to staff regarding training opportunities.
  • Handle office management tasks such as ordering stationery, managing office equipment, and general office supplies.
  • Create and distribute internal certificates and other training documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate regular reports and presentations for L&D initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or equivalent National Certificate (NQF Level 4).
  • Relevant experience in learning and development or a related field, applying job-related concepts and processes.
  • Fluent in Business English.
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including proficiency with office software.
