About the Role
The Administrative Controller – Learning & Development will support the Human Resources department by managing the administrative and logistical aspects of the Learning & Development (L&D) function. The role involves coordinating training activities, maintaining learning systems, and ensuring smooth delivery of learning initiatives throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for all learning and development programmes, including venue set‑up, travel, and accommodation for participants and trainers.
- Prepare training materials and support the distribution of learning resources.
- Manage relationships with external service providers, creating purchase orders, and ensuring timely payments.
- Assist in the administration of bursaries, including handling payments and necessary documentation.
- Support the “Best Company to Work For” survey and other employee recognition initiatives.
- Maintain and update the Learning Management System (LMS) and the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Keep the L&D calendar and diary updated, ensuring events run on schedule.
- Respond to L&D queries and provide support to staff regarding training opportunities.
- Handle office management tasks such as ordering stationery, managing office equipment, and general office supplies.
- Create and distribute internal certificates and other training documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and generate regular reports and presentations for L&D initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent National Certificate (NQF Level 4).
- Relevant experience in learning and development or a related field, applying job-related concepts and processes.
- Fluent in Business English.
- Intermediate computer literacy, including proficiency with office software.
