Introduction

Tracker has been South Africa’s leading vehicle tracking company since the 1990s. We are looking for dedicated sales agents to join our Acquisitions Call Centre at our head office in Johannesburg. Job Description

In this role, you will play a key part in driving our sales growth by connecting with customers and promoting our services. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Meet sales and lead conversion targets to help the company grow.
  • Market Tracker’s products and services to both existing customers and new prospects.
  • Follow up on outstanding leads and address any customer queries promptly.
  • Handle inbound calls from customers and make outbound calls as part of sales campaigns.
  • Show strong knowledge of our products, services, and internal systems to provide accurate information.
  • Negotiate deals and adjust products or services to fit customer needs, while following our pricing guidelines and sales strategy.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints in a professional, efficient way, always upholding Tracker’s quality standards and company values.
  • Sell additional value-added services to enhance customer experience.
  • Upsell Tracker products to increase customer value and satisfaction.
  • Ask for referrals from new customers to expand our reach.
  • Provide regular feedback to team leads, management, and other departments on the status of leads and sales activities.
  • Ensure you meet quality benchmarks in all your interactions.
  • Manage your time and workload effectively to hit deadlines and achieve targets.
  • Align your daily actions with Tracker’s culture and core values.
  • Meet your personal performance goals consistently.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Handle contract administration tasks, provide feedback, and prepare daily statistical reports.
  • Schedule installations of Tracker units for customers.
  • Reschedule appointments when needed to accommodate customers.
  • Check and maintain a high quality of schedules to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage potential cancellations to minimize losses and retain customers.

Minimum Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet these basic qualifications:

  • Matric certificate or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years of previous experience in a call centre sales environment – this is essential.
  • RE 5 certification and 120 FAIS credits are advantageous but not required.
  • Basic or intermediate knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
