Job Summary
This 12‑month learnership is designed for recent graduates with a degree in Finance, Accounting or Law who are unemployed and eager to build a career in financial services. You will work virtually as a trainee Financial Advisor, gaining hands‑on experience while following structured training and development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate fully in all workplace activities aligned with your development goals.
- Attend and actively engage in all training sessions as scheduled.
- Assist customers and the team to ensure high performance and service excellence.
- Complete required administrative tasks, including tracking and reporting.
- Generate and manage leads to meet sales targets and productivity measures.
- Uphold a high standard of customer experience and service quality.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to prescribed scripts to meet compliance demands.
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Completed a Bachelor’s degree or an advanced diploma in Accounting (required); other degrees in Finance or Law are welcome.
- Hold a National Senior Certificate/Matric (Grade 12) (required).
- Preference for candidates with an FSCA‑approved qualification.
- Experience or completion of the Regulatory Exam for Representatives (RE5) is an advantage.
- Willingness to attend product‑specific training, class‑of‑business training, and continuous professional development after onboarding.
- Demonstrated honesty, integrity and a good standing in all professional activities.
