Purpose
The Administrative Officer will provide essential administrative, registry, reproduction, archiving and document distribution services to support the Human Settlements Department.
Key Duties
- Maintain a comprehensive registry and filing system.
- Retrieve and distribute files between offices.
- Provide photocopying, document reproduction and typing support.
- Manage archives in accordance with the National Archives Act.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and mail.
- Maintain notice boards at the department.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of administrative experience.
- Computer literacy.
- Undertake a criminal record check and provide fingerprints (at own expense).
