Salary

Annual Salary: R254,808 – R353,892

Full Cost to Company: R357,290 – R483,405

Purpose

The Administrative Officer will provide essential administrative, registry, reproduction, archiving and document distribution services to support the Human Settlements Department.

Key Duties

  • Maintain a comprehensive registry and filing system.
  • Retrieve and distribute files between offices.
  • Provide photocopying, document reproduction and typing support.
  • Manage archives in accordance with the National Archives Act.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and mail.
  • Maintain notice boards at the department.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of administrative experience.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Undertake a criminal record check and provide fingerprints (at own expense).
