About the Programme
The Eskom Learner Hospitality X10 programme is a 24‑month apprentice‑style training programme designed to develop the next generation of hospitality professionals for Eskom’s vast food service operations. The role offers hands‑on experience across all kitchen departments combined with administrative responsibilities and training in ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food to Eskom’s quality and safety standards.
- Control and manage kitchen inventory and stock levels.
- Perform routine administrative duties and maintain accurate records.
- Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external guests.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
Minimum Requirements
Qualification
- National Diploma or National N Diploma in Catering Management/Hospitality.
- Or a Hotel School qualification at NQF Level 6 (240 credits).
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in all kitchen departments.
