Job Title: Yes 4 Youth Learnership – Logistics & Supply Chain
About the Position
DHL Supply Chain South Africa is looking for motivated, eager-to‑learn young people to join our logistics team. This full‑time, temporary learnership gives you hands‑on experience in loading, unloading and basic warehouse operations. As a learnership you will follow the company’s standard operating procedures, keep accurate records and help keep our services safe, reliable and on time. The role is open to South African citizens aged 18–29 who are unemployed, and only BBBEE candidates are considered.
Locations
- Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu‑Natal – 3 positions
- Johannesburg, Gauteng – 25 positions
Employment Type
Full‑time, temporary (learnership)
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and follow client requirements and DHL operational standards.
- Use equipment the correct way and report any defects immediately.
- Record and report any non‑conformities with customer merchandise.
- Work within the designated areas based on business needs.
- Follow all safe working practices and daily operational procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Matric with English and Mathematics (or Maths Literacy) – essential
- Only BBBEE candidates will be considered.
- South African citizen, aged 18–29, and currently unemployed.
- Valid Code 08 driver’s licence – desirable.
- Valid forklift / reach truck licence – desirable.
