About the Role

Value Logistics is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Client Liaison Officer to manage customer service operations, resolve queries efficiently, and foster seamless communication between departments. This role is critical in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring smooth logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relations:
    • Resolve client queries within 45 minutes and close collection requests promptly.
    • Verify accuracy of collection details and escalate unaccepted quotes to the Sales team.
    • Manage subcontractor/agent inquiries and telephonic collection requests.
    • Proactively inform clients of operational challenges impacting service delivery.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Compile critical statistics to support branch operations.
    • Analyze monthly reports and identify trends in customer activity.
    • Alert the Sales team about irregular or reduced usage by clients.
  • Communication:
    • Facilitate collaboration between Sales, Operations, and Value Express teams.
    • Coordinate service execution for collections, deliveries, and quotes.
    • Manage credit hold notifications with account managers.
  • Administration:
    • Ensure daily report actions and billing reconciliations are completed.
    • Process email/phone quote requests within 45 minutes.
    • Compile claim documentation for the Administration Manager.

Required Qualifications

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
  • Strong numerical and statistical aptitude
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management
  • Meticulous attention to detail
