CLEANER: SUPERVISOR

Salary: R193 359 – R227 766 per annum (Level 04)
Location: SA Army Combat Training Centre, Lohatla, Postmasburg, 8420
Requirements
- ABET Level 4 or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a cleaning services environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning materials, equipment and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
- Ability to supervise a large staff component and manage inventory.
- Strong interpersonal communication, problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Key Duties
- Supervise cleaning services across multiple facilities.
- Inspect buildings to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Monitor availability and condition of cleaning equipment.
- Manage inventory of cleaning materials and equipment, placing orders and issuing supplies.
- Compile and submit cleaning reports.
- Draft and implement cleaning programmes for various buildings.
- Report problems promptly to senior personnel.
- Control leave for cleaning staff and manage discipline.
- Manage staff performance in line with the PMDS.
