Job Purpose

The Driver Messenger will collect and deliver mail, documents and parcels efficiently throughout the City of Tshwane – Region 5, ensuring accurate distribution and maintaining vehicle readiness.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10 or equivalent
• Relevant messenger or driving experience
• Valid Code B driver’s licence
• Physically fit and able to walk and carry items
• Criminal record check with fingerprints (at own cost)

Principal Duties

• Collect and deliver mailbags, letters and parcels
• Distribute internal documents within offices
• Assist with bulk photocopying when required
• Sort and distribute outgoing files
• Collect completed print work from printing services
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and ensure roadworthiness
