Pre‑Learners X10 – Mechanical Assistant (12‑Month Contract)

Key Responsibilities
- Help technicians inspect heavy earthmoving equipment.
- Support basic troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, and repairs.
- Assist with removing and installing components in the workshop or at customer sites.
- Help order parts and manage inventory.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as service reports, labour bookings, returned parts, and expenses.
- Compile accurate customer machine analysis and reports, including Machine Inspection Reports (MIR).
- Assist with general duties, housekeeping, and customer support.
Qualifications & Skills
- Grade 12/N3 with Pure Mathematics – minimum 45 % (non‑functional mathematics).
- Grade 12/N3 with English – minimum 45 %.
- Grade 12/N3 with Physical Science – minimum 45 %.
- Prior knowledge of Motor/Diesel Theory and/or Electrical/Electronic Theory is an advantage.
- Technicians for The World certificate is a plus.
- Minimum Code B Learner’s Licence (Light Motor Vehicle) is an advantage.
- Good reading, writing and speaking, and strong numeracy skills.
Apprentice X9 – Global Grade 03
Location: Polokwane, South Africa
Type: Full‑Time
Key Responsibilities
