Financial Commitment: Full training cost coverage contingent on successful program completion. Candidates failing modules must self-fund repeat attempts. Mandatory 3-year service contract applies post-qualification.
Candidate Responsibilities
- Execute equipment maintenance & repair procedures
- Maintain workshop inventory systems
- Provide technical support to field teams
- Ensure service delivery standards
- Complete assigned technical projects
Minimum Entry Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Valid Code B Driver’s License
- N2 Certificate with:
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Diesel Trade Theory
- Electronics/Engineering Drawing (Optional)
Alternative Pathway
Candidates without N2 may apply with Senior Certificate containing:
- Mathematics/Technical Maths (40%+)
- Physical Science/Technical Science (40%+)
- Engineering Graphics & Design
Upgrading Opportunity: AFGRI sponsors N2 completion for qualifying applicants through FET colleges prior to apprenticeship commencement.
