The role supports store management with day‑to‑day tasks while delivering excellent customer service. You will follow all store policies and procedures, helping to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide top‑level adidas service to every customer.
- Handle sales transactions using cash, credit, checks, and other payment methods.
- Assist with product receipt checks and ticketing as needed.
- Help move merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
- Create and support merchandise displays as directed by store management.
- Learn and use the point‑of‑sale system accurately.
- Use selling techniques such as add‑on sales and product information to increase sales and meet goals.
- Greet customers at the front door, especially during busy times.
- Maintain general housekeeping standards, including cleaning.
- Safeguard company assets and monitor the sales floor for security and loss prevention.
- Complete any in‑store or digital training provided (Atticus/AREA).
- Use Power BI tools to understand store performance and product trends.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Passion for retail and great customer service.
- Good initiative and decision‑making.
- Clear, upbeat communication.
- Flexibility to work during the week, evenings and weekends.
- Previous fashion retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Adaptability to manage multiple tasks and changing situations.

Education & Experience
- Matric certificate.
- 0–1 years of retail experience.
