About the Role
As an MVG Host Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests and members of the Sun MVG Loyalty Programme. Your role is to deliver exceptional customer service, promote the loyalty programme, and ensure all operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service Preparation: Check equipment, keep your area clean, and restock marketing materials.
- Equipment and Stock: Report any faults, carry out handovers, and conduct audits of collaterals and stocks.
- Loyalty Programme Administration: Explain benefits, capture sign‑ups, issue cards, verify data, and process rewards.
- Guest Interaction: Greet guests, understand their preferences, upsell relevant services, and resolve complaints.
- Compliance: Follow all gaming regulations and internal controls. Ensure responsible gambling principles are upheld.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records and support overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Education
Grade 12 with Maths literacy and meet all gaming license criteria.
Experience
2‑4 years in a customer‑facing role.
Skills & Knowledge
- Problem solving and conflict handling
- Strong listening and questioning abilities
- Attention to detail and following instructions
- Emotional resilience and honesty with cash handling
- Excellent English communication, both spoken and written
- Basic knowledge of gaming products and casino operations
- Familiarity with loyalty programmes and data capture
- Basic responsible gambling principles
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office, typing)
- Advantage: familiarity with SVC, Opera PMS, EGS, Promo Exec
Work Conditions
- Shift work as required by operations
- Work in a smoking area
- Physical mobility required for moving around the premises
