About the Role
The Learnership Administration role is designed for individuals who have completed Grade 12 and are interested in gaining practical skills and experience in an administrative setting. Over a 12‑month period, you will participate in a structured programme that combines classroom learning with on‑site work experience. Your goal is to develop essential professional skills that will prepare you for a career in administration or related fields.
Programme Overview
The programme has two main components:
- Theoretical module: Covers Entrepreneurship, Business Operations, Customer Service, Business Accounting, Maths Literacy, Communication Skills, and Computer Skills. You will attend classes that align with an NQF Learnership standard.
- Practical module: Provides hands‑on work experience in Sasol’s administrative teams. You will support managers and departments with everyday tasks, helping to improve their effectiveness and build your work readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day‑to‑day administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry and scheduling.
- Support managers and staff in coordinating routine operations.
- Help maintain accurate records and follow organisational policies and procedures.
- Contribute to team projects that improve performance and efficiency.
- Apply workplace learning to real‑world scenarios.
Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12 (a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
- 0–1 year of experience is acceptable.
- Capability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks.
- Good communication, organisational and computer skills.
