About the Mine
The Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine is located in the Limpopo Province, about 60 km from Lydenburg and 40 km from Burgersfort. Our mine is a world‑class producer of chrome ore.
Job Responsibilities
You will report to the HRD Officer or their nominee and support the instrumentation and mechanical maintenance teams as part of our learnership programme. Key tasks include:
- Assist with the installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation equipment.
- Support routine maintenance and repairs of mechanical components.
- Follow health and safety procedures in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996.
- Participate in training sessions and on‑the‑job learning activities.
Minimum Educational Requirements
- Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
Other Requirements
Successful candidates must:
- Be medically fit, certified by a qualified medical practitioner.
- Provide all relevant certificates, licences, and qualifications that are certified by the South African Police Service (SAPS).
- Authenticate all information provided in their CV.
