Job Overview
We are looking for two enthusiastic interns to join our Distribution Centre team. In this role you will gain hands‑on experience in warehouse operations, logistics and inventory control in a dynamic industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist internal technicians and external customers with counter support.
- Handle parts returns and warranty processing.
- Support invoicing and work order processing.
- Prepare orders: pull stock, pack items and stage them for delivery.
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles.
- Check incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Inspect items for damage, defects or missing parts and report any issues.
- Support inventory control activities such as cycle counts and stock location updates.
- Maintain pricing records and coordinate vendor deliveries and collections.
- Follow specialised procedures including rope‑cutting dispatch.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe and compliant with operational standards.
- Report issues in shipping or receiving processes to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Support quality system procedures, internal audits, corrective actions and customer feedback processes.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in line with company policies and delegated authority guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Operations Management.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, especially Excel).
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Physically able to assist with manual handling tasks (lifting, loading, carrying).
- Own reliable transport.
