Driver: Light Duty – Europcar

Job Description

Europcar Secunda is looking for a reliable and responsible driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and a good understanding of South African driving rules.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean the vehicle interior and exterior to our high standards.
• Perform quality control checks, identify and report expired licenses or any issue that does not meet our standards.
• Refuel vehicles, check tyre pressure, oil, water and other fluids after every rental.
• Deliver vehicles to customers following company procedures.
• Handle vehicle check‑ins in line with company, quality control and claims procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the yard and surrounding areas.
• Act ethically and protect company assets and customer interests.
• Carry out other duties as requested.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum Experience: 2 years of relevant driving experience.

Minimum Qualification: Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4.

Requirements

• Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s licence (minimum 2 years old).
• Basic computer literacy.
• Fluency in English (must be fully bilingual – you will converse with customers in both English and local language).
• Able to read a map.

Note: The selected candidate may need to work weekends, shifts or overtime as required.
