About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised, detail‑oriented professional to join our warehouse team as a Storeman. In this role you will be the backbone of our stock operations, ensuring accuracy, security, and efficiency in the handling of all inventory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain physical control and organisation of inventory in assigned areas, keeping the space clean and secure.
  • Accurately count and record stock received and dispatched following company procedures.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and take part in full stock takes and reconciliations.
  • Keep stock items organised and ready for efficient retrieval.
  • Inspect items for defects or damage and report findings to the manager.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies and present findings to management.
  • Maintain accurate administrative records of inventory and stock movements.
  • Track inventory movements, create reports and reconcile inter‑branch/warehouse transfers.
  • Assist in designing, developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
  • Background in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
  • 1–3 years experience as a Storeman, Stock Controller or similar warehousing role.
  • 1–3 years cycle count experience.
  • Computer literacy (1–3 years of experience).
  • Strong understanding of inventory management practices such as cycle counting and ABC analysis.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Related degree preferred; degree holders receive additional consideration.
  • Experience with SAP is an advantage (1–3 years).
