Position Summary
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our Bulk Material Handling team at Eskom’s Vaal Marine site in Sasolburg. The role involves manual, unskilled work such as lifting, carrying, pushing and moving equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate will work safely, maintain a clean workshop and support overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep the workshop clean, safe and organised.
- Operate tools and equipment responsibly.
- Prepare and deliver toolbox talks on Shop, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ).
- Support workshop housekeeping and safety procedures.
Skills
- Effective time management.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- Ability to compile a Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA).
- Conflict resolution and good interpersonal communication.
Knowledge
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures for workshops.
- Basic understanding of safety rules, regulations and OHSA.
- Ability to identify appropriate tools and equipment.
- Practical technical skills relevant to the role.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience in workshop cleaning or a related technical field.
- Experience in handling heavy, manual tasks.
