Position Summary
As a Despatch Controller, you will be the essential link between our logistics team and the high‑quality service we deliver to our clients. You’ll manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring every delivery runs smoothly, efficiently, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all dispatch activities for routine and urgent deliveries.
- Maintain accurate documentation for every shipment.
- Monitor delivery schedules and resolve any delays or issues.
- Communicate clearly with drivers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Optimize resource use and support cost‑effective operations.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Valid South African driver’s licence (Code EB and/or A).
- Strong computer skills and basic numerical ability.
- Clear written and verbal communication in English.
- Good organisational and problem‑solving skills.
Desired Skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks under tight deadlines.
- Team‑player attitude with a proactive mindset.
- Experience in logistics or transport is an advantage but not required.
