About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and customer‑focused Courier to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of specimens, reports, and other goods for our partner laboratories, doctors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan routes by reviewing orders and tasks for delivery and collection.
• Collect and deliver specimens from surrounding laboratories, ensuring they reach their destinations on time and in good condition.
• Sign proof of delivery for each specimen or report.
• Scan items into the Courier Management Programme to enable tracking and traceability.
• Safeguard Lancet vehicles, petrol cards, uniforms, and other assets, reporting faults promptly.
• Wear protective gear (gloves, eye protection, specimen bags) and follow health and safety regulations.
• Submit incident and accident reports to management for prompt resolution.
• Keep the vehicle clean and report any hazardous spills immediately.

Required Qualifications

• Grade 12 or a relevant NQF Level 4 qualification is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• Experience: Either 2–3 years of relevant working experience with Grade 10 or a minimum of 10 years as a courier.
