Purpose of the Programme

This 12‑month Learnership Programme provides structured, accredited training for learners who wish to work in manufacturing and maintenance environments. The programme combines classroom learning with practical, on‑the‑job experience at our production facility.

Training Modules

Working effectively in a team
Safety and hand‑tool usage
Assembly & manufacturing
Reading drawings and marking‑off
Welding fundamentals
Operating & monitoring production machines
Surface preparation
Firefighting basics
Operations, dispatch, and product handling

Programme Structure

First 6 months: Classroom training (07:30 – 15:30)
Next 6 months: Production shift work

Day shift: 07:00 – 15:30
Night shift: 20:00 – 04:30

Qualifications & Experience Required

Applicants must hold one of the following:

National Technical Certificate (N3–N6)
Matric / Technical Matric with one or more of the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Physical Science or Engineering Science
- Electrical Trade Theory
- Mechanical Trade Theory
- Motor Trade Theory
- Mechanical Drawing
- Graphical Design

Certification

Learners will receive an NQF Level 3 qualification upon successful completion of the programme.
