About the Role
The Secunda branch is looking for a skilled Code 14 driver to operate a range of Code 14 vehicles. You will be responsible for the safety of the vehicle and its load, performing daily vehicle checks, and ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain safe handling of the vehicle and its load.
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and report any faults.
- Load and unload materials and equipment efficiently.
- Adhere to the Road Traffic Act and all relevant occupational health and safety requirements.
- Promote road safety for all road users.
- Follow company policies and road regulations at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
- Valid, unendorsed Code 14 licence with a current PDP.
- At least 3 years of experience driving Code 14 vehicles.
- Experience with manual gearboxes.
- Experience in reversing a draw‑bar trailer is required.
- Experience operating a mounted grab crane is an advantage.
- A hands‑on, practical approach to work.
