About the Programme
AVBOB Mutual Assurance Society invites South African graduates aged 18‑35 who are currently unemployed to apply for our 2024/25 12‑month Internship Programme. The programme is available in the Western Cape at the following branch locations:
- Ceres
- Paarl
- Hermanus
- Bredasdorp
- Beaufort West
- Gansbaai
- Caledon
- Vredendal

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a positive and professional client service experience at the branch.
- Manage client inquiries and document all activities and outcomes.
- Escalate customer complaints or complex queries to supervisors or branch managers promptly.
- Provide technical assistance on AVBOB Member Value products and services.
- Build and maintain positive client relations through regular check‑ins and follow‑ups.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Use post‑service surveys to identify client concerns and facilitate proactive interventions.
- Monitor emerging client‑service trends and assist the team in leveraging them.
- Recommend product improvements based on client feedback.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
- BSc in Information Systems.
- Degree in Marketing Management.
- Degree in Business Administration.
Key Skills and Experience
- Data analytics proficiency.
- Sales experience is advantageous.
- Customer service experience is advantageous.
- Strong problem‑solving ability.
