Job Overview
The role is to provide excellent service to our customers through phone calls. You will call potential clients from lists and try to set sales appointments or close sales. Calls may be made from a landline or using a dialler. The goal is to meet daily targets for sales or appointments.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls from lists to secure sales or appointments.
- Answer inbound calls and assist customers with enquiries.
- Transfer calls to other departments when needed.
- Handle customer complaints and raise them if required.
- Verify listener information and pass any needed quality checks.
- Meet requirements for call volume, strike rate, and daily targets.
- Help teammates with day‑to‑day contact centre issues.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Completed matric (high school).
- Post‑matric qualification is preferred.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- At least 1 year of cold‑calling experience in a sales call centre.
- 1 year of administration experience in a client‑centric environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
