Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and client‑focused Customer Service Representative to join our software support team in Benoni. In this role you will be the first point of contact for clients, delivering timely, empathetic and effective support. Your clear communication, quick problem‑solving and teamwork will help us maintain an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Support: Handle calls, emails and chat inquiries, providing professional and helpful technical assistance.
  • Issue Triage: Prioritise support requests by urgency and impact.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose problems using product knowledge, follow established processes and provide initial solutions.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve straightforward technical issues independently using available resources and documentation.
  • Escalation: Work with Tier 2 or other technical teams when deeper expertise is required, documenting clearly for smooth hand‑over.
  • Client Education: Guide clients on software features, best practices and basic functionalities.
  • Quality Assurance: Adhere to internal QA standards to ensure interactions are professional, accurate and client‑satisfactory.
  • Continuous Learning: Keep up to date with system updates, enhancements and new features; participate in training and development.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or National Certificate (Grade 12).
  • Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Clear, courteous communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
  • High level of discretion and trustworthiness.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient understanding of internal systems and product knowledge.
