About the Role
You will start immediate on a Millwright apprenticeship at the Wellington Distillery. Your main supervisor will be the Engineering Specialist. The role is part of our Supply Chain – Production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete training to become a qualified Millwright artisan.
- Attend and actively participate in the apprenticeship training programme.
- Deliver quality work on all assigned tasks.
- Perform duties to the standards of safety, quality and time.
What We’re Looking For
Technical & Communication Skills
- Good problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications
- Matric with Maths and Science.
- NVQ Level 2 or a diploma in Engineering, with relevant Electrical and Mechanical trade theory (certified copy required).
Additional Requirements
- Own reliable transport.
- Flexible to work shifts as needed.
- Willing to be reassigned to other Heineken Beverages plants or facilities.
