About the Role
Rewardsco is seeking an Application Support Consultant to provide technical and application support for our outbound, inbound and international sales divisions. The role focuses on keeping systems stable, maximizing user productivity and delivering excellent service across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, software, Windows OS, email, authentication systems and user profiles.
- Support internal sales platforms, CRM systems, dialer‑integrated tools and web applications.
- Handle issues in the outbound sales division and, when needed, upgrade to higher support tiers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, network, browser and application problems to minimize downtime.
- Track, manage and maintain hardware assets assigned to the IT department.
- Assist with software deployments, updates and patches for Microsoft and third‑party systems.
- Ensure security standards are upheld on all user devices, including patching, compliance and policy enforcement.
- Document procedures, troubleshooting steps and user guides.
- Coordinate small technical and application projects such as rollouts, migrations and system enhancements.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Matric (high school) certificate required.
- CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications (non‑negotiable).
- Studying towards or completed an IT diploma or degree.
- 1–3 years of desktop support experience.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Strong troubleshooting skills from OS to application layer.
- Experience in high‑volume environments (call centre experience is a plus).
- Clear criminal record.
