Purpose of the Role
The Customer Service Administrator intern will support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of key systems used across our campuses. The role requires analysing errors, correcting data, training users, and exploring automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in system maintenance, troubleshooting, and user training, preferably in a higher‑education environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Systems & Processes:
- Monitor and maintain specific systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify, analyse, and resolve system errors and discrepancies.
- Assist users in correcting data and ensuring data integrity.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance user understanding and usage of systems.
- Create and update documentation and training tools related to system processes.
- Training & Development:
- Develop and maintain assessment tools to test knowledge retention after training.
- Provide ongoing support to users, addressing queries and issues promptly.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Design reports and dashboards, including trend analysis.
- Compile regular reports and maintain databases.
- Communication & Correspondence:
- Manage internal and external communication on behalf of the Customer Experience Department.
- Draft emails, schedule meetings, attend meetings, and follow up on tasks and feedback.
Functional Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook) and Microsoft Dynamics.
- High level of digital skills.
- Experience with Power BI dashboards and process mapping documents.
