About the Programme
Heineken offers a unique 18‑month internship that puts you in the middle of real revenue‑management work across multiple African and global markets. You will learn how pricing, promotions, market dynamics and commercial decisions are made in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pricing and promotion analysis for key HBI (Heineken Brands International) markets.
- Analyse channel, category, brand, pack, and market performance.
- Work with Revenue Management Leads to spot growth and margin improvement opportunities.
- Create regular dashboards, trackers and performance reports.
- Conduct macro‑economic, market and competitor research to inform pricing and trade‑term adjustments.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Finance and Supply Chain to implement commercial strategies.
- Engage in project work such as data‑source optimisation, pricing simulations, price‑study and promo ROI assessments.
- Help build best‑practice tools and templates for the wider Revenue Management function.
- Prepare and present insights, reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Contribute to ad‑hoc projects that support broader commercial and revenue initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Applicants must be in the final year of a qualification that includes a strong analytical focus, e.g. Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Science, Data Analytics or a related field.
Key skills and attributes:
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Curious mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for business growth, data analysis and strategic thinking.
- South African citizenship.

- Letter from the tertiary institution confirming that workplace exposure is required to obtain the qualification.
- Template for logbook – the logbook used by the tertiary institution for evaluation.
