About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and motivated Cellular Consultant to join our team in Germiston.
In this role you will help customers choose the right cellular plans and products, ensuring that
each sale is profitable for the Business Unit and meets our high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve personal contract sales targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the Business Unit.
- Promote contract products to customers, highlighting their value and benefits.
- Process contract applications accurately and in accordance with required procedures.
- Handle customer queries and concerns with a customer‑centric attitude.
- Manage time effectively and work collaboratively with team members.
Minimum Requirements
- Completed matric (high school).
- 1–2 years of retail experience.
- Knowledge of contract services and products.
- Understanding of risk management principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus.
Skills & Knowledge
- Experience with Management Information Systems and SAP.
- Familiarity with Vodacom C3D, M2, MTN Ilula, Telkom CRM, AVS, PayJoy and Vumatel.
- Credit Services sales acumen.
- In‑depth knowledge of IC policies, practices and procedures.
- Understanding of the IC Business Operating Model.
- Ethical behaviour and compliance with company policies.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration.
- Customer service orientation and excellent telephone etiquette.
- Attention to detail and a target‑driven mindset.
