About the Job
Motus Autoworx, a leading name in vehicle repair, is looking for a dedicated
Flatter to join our team at the Cape Town Airport branch.
As a Flatter you will be responsible for preparing and finishing vehicle
bodies after repair work so that a flawless paint finish is achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles coming from the panel beating bay to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Check all body parts for smoothness and suitable surface conditions.
- Apply spray primer on minor repairs as required.
- Ensure that flatting is performed correctly and that paint can be applied smoothly.
- Keep your designated work area clean and tidy at all times.
- Carry out any other duties reasonably requested by management.
Required Experience & Qualification
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in vehicle flatting or a related field.
- Grade 12 education.
- Technical qualification in colour matching.
- B A Journeyman certification is preferred.
Essential Requirements
- Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s licence (minimum 2 years old).
- Excellent command of the English language (both verbal and written).
