Fixed‑term finance internship (6 months) – stipend of R6 500 per month.

Introduction

The Finance Division is looking for energetic individuals to assist with the physical verification and tagging of the university’s movable assets. Interns will report to the Accountant responsible for Budgeting, Reporting & Assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform physical verification of movable and intangible assets.
  • Tag and document assets accurately.
  • Assist in maintaining asset records and supporting audit processes.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on reporting and budgeting tasks.

Minimum Requirements

  • Three (3) year qualification in Accounting or Finance.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Desirable Experience

  • Hands‑on experience conducting physical asset verification.
