The Administrator T&A is responsible for managing the time and attendance system, ensuring accurate data collection, reporting, and payroll documentation. This role supports HR and payroll teams to keep employee records up to date and resolve any attendance queries.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate or equivalent.
- Relevant office or Human Resources certificate at NQF 5 (or equivalent).
- Experience with time and attendance systems.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Computer literacy – MS Office proficiency.
- Medically fit for the role.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- At least 3 years in a similar administrative role.
- Hands‑on experience with time and attendance software.
- Ability to generate absence and manning reports.
- Strong problem‑solving and effective communication skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Verify attendance, hours worked and record them accurately.
- Process paperwork for new employees and enter information into payroll and ERS systems.
- Maintain the T&A system, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.
- Update the system with leave, transfers, inductions, medicals and related documents.
- Prepare accurate AWOP, overtime, and short‑shift reports.
- Investigate employee queries and provide timely feedback.
- Generate and submit manning, leave and fatigue reports to managers on time.
- Ensure all payroll documents are submitted promptly to payroll and HR.
- Issue employee payslips and forward any related queries to HR.
