Operations Internship – Procurement & Fleet (FTC)

About the role

This internship provides on‑the‑job experience in procurement and fleet management for a globally recognized brand.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update vendor databases, contracts and agreements.
• Assist with procurement record‑keeping in compliance with company policy.
• Collect and analyse supplier performance data (delivery times, quality, pricing trends).
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders summarising audit findings and improvement opportunities.
• Support onboarding of new vendors and verify BBBEE documentation.
• Help with BBBEE audit preparation.
• Ensure vendor database remains accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Assist with fleet utilisation reports, cost‑efficiency and performance metrics.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs and insurance renewals with vendors.
• Support fleet audits for compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
• Maintain the fleet database with accurate records.
• Act as a point of contact between Red Bull, vendors and customers.
• Prepare and present audit summaries and improvement recommendations.
• Analyse trends and provide insights to support strategic decision‑making.
• Ensure all procurement and fleet activities comply with company policy and relevant laws.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to vendor governance or fleet operations.

What we look for

• University qualification in Supply Chain, Finance or a related field (BCom, BSc, BTech).
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Basic knowledge of procurement or fleet processes (or willingness to learn).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and spot trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and eager to contribute to team goals.
