Job Overview
The Warranty Clerk will provide clerical support to process service costing and warranty transactions accurately and within agreed time frames. The role involves documenting and reporting work activities, interacting with customers, and working in line with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet performance targets and service level agreements.
- Follow established governance and compliance procedures.
- Identify and apply known solutions to operational problems or flag unresolved issues.
- Record and report work activities to support decision‑making.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up‑to‑date and costed correctly.
- Plan, administer and process costing related tasks efficiently.
- Deliver service and products that exceed customer expectations.
- Maintain positive and helpful communication with internal and external customers.
- Participate in learning initiatives to improve work quality and personal skills.
- Live up to company values and ethics.
Qualifications
A minimum of one year of experience as a Warranty Clerk and at least two years of experience working in a workshop environment.
Education
- Higher Certificate and/or Advanced National Senior (Vocational) Certificates with NQF Level 4
