About Eskom Distribution Division
Eskom Distribution Division is looking for two Assistant Officers in Fleet Services to support our fleet management solutions. The role is part of the Gemma Cluster’s Finance – Fleet Services department and will operate from Klerksdorp and Vryburg.
Job Description
This position involves providing comprehensive safety, customer and technical support for fleet management. You will be responsible for ensuring that all fleet operations align with Eskom’s policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver fleet customer service and reporting support
- Coordinate vehicle replacements and disposal processes
- Investigate vehicle abuse and accidents
- Support vehicle monitoring and fleet cost recovery initiatives
- Maintain data integrity across fleet management systems
- Manage fuel operations and distribution business vehicle schemes
Skills & Competencies
- Behavioural: High judgement, integrity, honesty, professionalism, trustworthy
- Leadership: Customer relations, presentation skills, strong interpersonal communication
- Knowledge: Understanding of Eskom’s processes, fleet policies, transport legislation, and OSH Act
- Technical: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Experience with fleet management systems
- Excellent telephone etiquette, problem‑solving ability, analytical thinking
Qualifications & Experience
- National Diploma in Road Transport, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (NQF 6, 240 credits)
- Minimum 2 years of fleet‑related experience
- Valid national driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel as needed
