Position Summary

As an HR System Analyst Intern, you will support and improve all Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) used by Mintek. Your role will help the Human Resources team deliver high quality, data‑driven services. You will learn how to analyse business needs, design workflows, test system changes and provide user support.

Key Responsibilities

• HRIS Optimisation – Analyse and report on the need for HRIS improvements, recommend solutions, and help implement them.
• User Management – Maintain and control user access and roles in collaboration with ICT.
• Process Improvement – Identify opportunities for standardisation and automation in HR processes.
• Change Management – Liaise with stakeholders on queries, errors and enhancement requests, document changes, and ensure proper change control procedures.
• System Testing – Test all updates and enhancements in a development environment before moving to production.
• User Support & Training – Provide first‑line support, assist user acceptance testing, and deliver training sessions to end users.
• Workflow Design – Design effective workflows and processes that support automation and customer needs.
• Analytics & Reporting – Design, build and maintain dashboards, alerts and key HR reports; create ad‑hoc reports as requested.

Minimum Requirements

• Honours in Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field (or a master’s degree is preferable).
• Basic experience with HR information systems.
• Understanding of business processes.
• Willingness to learn about legislation, policies and HR metrics.
• Project management skills.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
