About the Role

This part‑time position is ideal for a motivated and detail‑oriented professional who can manage a variety of administrative and logistical tasks across a multi‑campus environment. You will work closely with the Transformation Office team, supply-chain professionals, and external partners to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and provide logistical support for Transformation Office events, including workshops, consultations, and awareness sessions across SAMRC campuses.

  • Maintain accurate records and databases for transformation programmes, including employee participation and supplier engagements.
  • Prepare meeting documentation, take minutes, and ensure timely filing and distribution of records.
  • Support communication with internal stakeholders and external partners, following up on deliverables and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Monitor project progress, update tracking tools, and assist with reporting processes for the Transformation Office.
  • Perform data entry and processing for key Transformation Office databases.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Higher Certificate (NQF 5) in Office/Business Administration or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of office administration experience, preferably in a healthcare or research environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and strong computer skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Beneficial Attributes

  • National Diploma in Office/Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting diversity, inclusion, transformation, or wellness programmes.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple administrative and logistical priorities across a multi‑campus organisation.
