Job Description
Adendorff Machinery Mart is looking for a dynamic and confident Counter Salesperson to join our growing team in the Alberton branch. The role focuses on selling tools, machinery, and spares, while maintaining excellent customer service and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stock levels and keep the sale floor organised.
- Handle daily administrative and managerial tasks.
- Generate sales to meet or exceed company growth targets.
- Provide outstanding customer care in line with company policies.
- Oversee store housekeeping and visual merchandising.
- Supervise and motivate staff to perform at their best.
- Keep up to date with product knowledge and pursue self‑development.
Essential Requirements
- Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
- Own vehicle – essential for the role.
- Preferred: Experience in the automotive, engineering, tools, machinery or hardware sectors.
- Experience in retail branch procedures is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, honesty and reliability.
- Team‑player mindset with a positive attitude.
Working Hours
- Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
- Saturdays: 08:00 – 13:00
Salary & Benefits
Salary will be negotiable based on experience and performance. Additional benefits are available.
