Overview

We are looking for a final‑year student in Human Resources, Education, Training or a related field to join our People team as an Intern. The role supports key learning and development initiatives, helping us deliver high‑impact training across the company.

Supervision & Function

  • Immediate supervisor: Head of People: Marketing
  • Business area: People – People Business Partnering: Marketing
  • Contract type: Fixed‑term (18‑month internship)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage budget controls by capturing and processing Purchase Orders for the People team.
  • Coordinate learnership programmes end‑to‑end, including recruitment, contracting, and registration.
  • Assist the Learning team with coordination, administration and reporting of learning interventions.
  • Support People Partners on a range of People initiatives.
  • Coordinate virtual onboarding sessions.
  • Provide administrative support on various projects.
  • Arrange catering, travel, and other logistics as required.
  • Manage vendor processes for suppliers.
  • Plan and coordinate training logistics and administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including closing classes and generating completion reports.
  • Align learning activities with Employment Equity and transformation objectives.
  • Verify data and reports for accuracy.
  • Coordinate grant funding processes with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Current final year student in a Human Resources, Education, Training & Development, or related tertiary qualification (Degree or Diploma).
  • Computer literacy – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong time‑management and multitasking ability.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude.
  • South African citizen and eligible to live and work in South Africa.
