Description

Triton Academy is a TETA‑accredited training provider that offers courses in Freight Handling and Professional Driving to staff and unemployed learners. The Academy is building a talent pool of motivated individuals for its 12‑month National Certificate: Professional Driving Learnership. This programme aims to empower unemployed South African youth with structured training and hands‑on experience in the logistics sector.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack stock
• Receive and dispatch stock
• Load and unload goods from vehicles
• Prepare vehicles for trips
• Ensure goods are correctly stacked and secured on the vehicle
• Work with documentation
• Perform ancillary duties such as delivery & collection of freight and general housekeeping

Requirements

• South African citizen
• Grade 12 / TVET – N3 / NQF Level 2 qualification (minimum 40% in Maths and English)
• Age 23 to 35 years
• Medically fit
• Able to read and write English
• Numerically oriented
• Willing to work weekends and shifts
• Clear criminal record
• Reside in Germiston, Alberton, Boksburg, or Johannesburg
• Working hours: 08:00 – 18:00

Programme Information
