About the role
We need a Sales Representative to join our Baking Division in Secunda. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and work closely with agents and store managers to grow sales of our bread and other baking products.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and meet monthly sales volume targets.
- Develop monthly action plans and arrange at least four product displays each month.
- Hold weekly meetings with agents and conduct sales reviews.
- Prepare action plans to reach customer targets and present them to management.
- Follow a weekly route list and visit stores regularly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store and regional managers.
- Execute promotional plans to increase sales volumes.
- Promote bread sales and support overall market share growth.
- Lead weekly communication sessions with agent sales staff and ensure they are updated on marketing activities.
- Search for new business opportunities, negotiate better shelf space and add new customers.
- Prepare weekly reports on sales activity, achievements, agent performance, and any issues.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to agents and customers.
Requirements
- Matric certificate required; a degree in Sales, Management or a related field is a plus.
- Valid EB driver’s licence (Code 8).
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- Goal‑oriented, proactive and able to work independently.
