About the role
Assist store management with daily maintenance tasks while delivering excellent customer service and following all Adidas policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide the highest level of Adidas service to every customer.
- Handle sales transactions using cash, credit, checks, etc. as needed.
- Independently ticket items and verify paperwork against received stock.
- Support product flow between the stockroom and the sales floor on a “fill‑in” basis.
- Create appealing merchandise displays or follow suggestions from store management.
- Become proficient in the point‑of‑sale system and maintain integrity of all transactions.
- Use selling techniques such as upselling and describing product features to increase sales and reach store goals.
- Act as a greeter at the front entrance during busy periods.
- Maintain general housekeeping standards in the store.
- Safeguard company assets.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong passion for retail and customer service.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Clear, upbeat communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Previous fashion retail experience is a plus but not required.
Qualifications
- Matric certificate.
- 0–1 years of retail experience (entry‑level).
