About the role

Assist store management with daily maintenance tasks while delivering excellent customer service and following all Adidas policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of Adidas service to every customer.
• Handle sales transactions using cash, credit, checks, etc. as needed.
• Independently ticket items and verify paperwork against received stock.
• Support product flow between the stockroom and the sales floor on a “fill‑in” basis.
• Create appealing merchandise displays or follow suggestions from store management.
• Become proficient in the point‑of‑sale system and maintain integrity of all transactions.
• Use selling techniques such as upselling and describing product features to increase sales and reach store goals.
• Act as a greeter at the front entrance during busy periods.
• Maintain general housekeeping standards in the store.
• Safeguard company assets.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong passion for retail and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Clear, upbeat communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Previous fashion retail experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate.
• 0–1 years of retail experience (entry‑level).
