Role Overview
We are seeking two Paralegals (High Court) to support attorneys with case management, legal research, documentation, and stakeholder coordination. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of South African law.
Key Responsibilities
- General Management & Support: Assist attorneys with day‑to‑day tasks, case files, and overall case management.
- Research Assistance: Conduct legal research, search public records, and gather case‑relevant information.
- Client & Witness Interaction: Help interview clients and witnesses, and support attorneys in preparation for trial.
- Document Preparation: Draft legal documents, summaries, briefs, pleadings, and discovery materials.
- Document Management: Organise case files, update file registers, and maintain proper documentation.
- Reporting: Contribute to regulation reports, provide regular updates to management, and support performance reporting.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain proactive relationships with key stakeholders, handle inquiries, and coordinate with vendors and procurement teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in a legal environment.
