Internship Overview
This internship provides hands‑on experience within the PGM value chain at the Amandelbult Mine. During the 12‑month programme you will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real projects that support our sustainability and operational goals.
We give priority to applicants from the following host communities: Baphalane Ba Mantserre, Bakgatla Ba Kgafela, Baphalane Ba Ramokoka, Thabazimbi & Moses Kotane Municipality. Beneficiaries of company employees (financially dependent family members) are also encouraged to apply.
All interns will undergo a Medical Fitness Test and other assessments before starting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day‑to‑day operational activities at the Amandelbult Mine.
- Assist with environmental monitoring, reporting and compliance.
- Contribute to projects on sustainability, safety and community outreach.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Document work and prepare reports as required.
Qualifications
Minimum entry requirements:
- Graduated with a National Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor, BTech, Honours Degree or higher in Environmental Science or a related field.
- Strong academic record and relevant coursework.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated interest in sustainable mining practices.
