About the Role

As an Administration Services Administrator at Anglo American’s Global Shared Services (GSS), you will manage employee changes and support key HR processes for Finance & People Services. You will ensure everything runs smoothly, accurately and on time, becoming the first point of contact for administration queries across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all administrative support activities for employee changes, including job changes, personal data updates and reporting line adjustments.
  • Process cases received via ServiceNow, ensuring complete, quality‑checked documentation, proper authorisation, signatures and filing in employee folders (Employee Document Management Solution).
  • Provide basic advice and support for administration queries, troubleshooting common issues and escalating problems where necessary.
  • Assist People Services with invoice costing, allocation and corporate uniform ordering (post‑onboarding), when required.
  • Identify and propose process improvement opportunities within your area.
  • Collaborate with HR teams, line managers and other stakeholders to deliver seamless service and meet agreed SLA’s and KPIs.
  • Operate cost‑effectively within budget limits set by leadership.
  • Follow all policies, processes and systems, reporting any issues that affect performance.

Qualifications

  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate (minimum).
  • Relevant Diploma is advantageous.
  • Strong PC skills – confident use of the MS Office suite.

Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience as an administrator.
  • Background in stakeholder engagement and liaising with diverse teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
