Eskom, South Africa’s leading electricity supplier, is offering a range of learning programmes for passionate and aspiring technical, non‑technical and hospitality professionals. These programmes give you hands‑on experience at our power stations and their learning centres. All roles are open to South African citizens and are developed to equip you with industry‑relevant skills.

1. Learner Technician (Temporary – Majuba Power Station, Volksrust)

  • Completed S4 / S5 in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Process Instrumentation
  • Must not have completed P1 or P2 training
  • South African citizen required
• Key responsibility – Participate in both structured and on‑the‑job technical training.

2. Learner Artisan (x5) – Apprenticeship (Majuba Power Station, Volksrust)

  • National Certificate – N6/N5/N4 with Trade Subjects (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics)

  • Or NCV Level 4 with same subjects
• Key responsibility – Participate in structured Artisan training.

3. Learner Plant Operator (Fixed Term – Kusile Power Station, Mpumalanga)
