About the Role
Tectra Automation is looking for a motivated Workshop Assistant to join our Hub P team. The role involves a range of tasks that support the workshop’s smooth operation, from preparing workspaces and moving materials to assisting with cleaning, stripping, packing, and test benches.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cleaning and stripping components.
- Help with packing tasks when required.
- Move materials or components to designated areas.
- Support the testbench as needed.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑equipped work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in the hydraulic field or a related area.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills.
- Medically fit for the role.
- Willingness to work overtime.
- Must live locally – a non‑negotiable requirement.
