A vacancy exists for an ambitious and motivated individual to join a well-established, SAIPA-accredited accounting practice in Moreleta Park. This boutique firm offers a close-knit, professional environment with direct mentorship from the Partner, making it ideal for graduate accountants completing or registered for SAIPA articles, or newly qualified SAIPA professionals seeking long-term career growth. The role offers comprehensive exposure across all accounting and tax functions in a hands-on capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with monthly journals and reconciliations
Handle payroll processing and statutory submissions
Prepare monthly financial reports and statements
Manage VAT returns and tax compliance
Process supplier and customer invoices and payments
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation
Assist with client queries and tax guidance
Support the partner with ad-hoc accounting tasks

Minimum Qualifications:

BCom Degree in Accounting or similar
Registered for or completed SAIPA articles
Strong MS Excel skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Fluency in Afrikaans (due to the firm’s client base)
Own transport required
